Illusions is so much more than an EP that bridges the gap between future bass and Halftime DnB, it is also a display of ill-esha’s incredible mucisianship, her nuanced ear for melody and her ability to make complex programming and sound design seem effortless and flow with the silky smoothness of a buttered bar of soap. Carnival is s doubled barreled tune that will lure you in and then twist your synapses in elastic loops, Winter Break does a repeat act and spits you out, well mangled and giggling at the silliness of it all, and then Dark Passenger comes along and picks you up, and throws you into some bass heavy locked grooves. This EP is to be consumed in safe spaces.

Vancouver-born and Colorado-based music producer, artist and DJ ill-esha has crafted a long-standing soundscape of electronic bass music throughout her career, continuously evolving her musical stylings and bridging gaps between hip-hop, dubstep, R&B and future bass music. ill-esha is recognized as an extremely rare and diverse, burgeoning artist in the EDM scene, as her live set showcases her incredible talent to sing, DJ, and simultaneously rock her keytar.
